The only EWC round held in Japan, known as the Suzuka 8 Hours, and in 2026 the 47th running. It is an eight-hour race in the height of summer, and the entry is unlike any other round: full factory efforts from the Japanese manufacturers, with riders drawn from MotoGP, WorldSBK and the Japanese national championship. The other three rounds are all in Europe.
